Save the Date: Women's Art and Soul Retreat this Fall

Saturday, October 6, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm
Location: Mount Olivet Retreat Center, Farmington, MN

Put the date on your calendar. Plan to carpool from the Bethlehem parking lot to arrive at the Center at 8:30 am for a bagel/roll, juice and coffee breakfast. The day will consist of four sessions led by Rev. Kathie Nycklemoe and Robyn Sand Anderson, designed to help us "Relax, Reflect, Recreate." Cost: $40.

Strike Out Youth Homelessness with the St. Paul Saints

Tuesday, July 17

Join Bethlehem member Kristin Anderson and Lutheran Social Services at the ballpark, and together, Strike Out Youth Homelessness can make a difference for young people in need while watching the St. Paul Saints take on the Grand Prairie Air Hogs for a fun night at Midway Field. Game starts at 7:05 pm.

Habitat for Humanity Summer Build

June 18-22, 2012

Bethlehem's Habitat Project Week 2012 is June 18-22, 8:30 am - 4:00 pm with lunch provided. This year the house is a new construction project on the corner of 38th Street and 5th Avenue. You do not need to volunteer for the whole week--one day minimum is all we ask. Volunteers are needed at all skill levels. Sorry, no weekend opportunities during this build. If you have questions or want to sign up, contact Rick Jackson. Sign up table available in the Gallery on Sunday mornings in May.

 

 

Help out in the Nursery!

Interested in helping serve in the Nursery? If so, please come to the upcoming training session on May 21st. The session will include both Risk Management and Nursery Caregiver Trainings. All new caregivers & all returning caregivers (back after a year or more break  from nursery caregiving) are required to attend. We'll begin with Risk Managment at 6:30 in the Commons, then conclude with Caregiver Training in the Nursery. Childcare provided for 9mos - 6yrs.

Community Worship Celebration

at Central Lutheran Church, downtown Minneapolis

As followers of Jesus, we are fed in faith by word and sacrament, sent out to feed our neighbors in need. 9 metro area churches are collaborating efforts to create an amazing experience on Sunday, May 27. All ages are encouraged to be part of this wonderful day. NOTE: Bethlehem will have worship services at 8:00 am and 7:00 pm ONLY because we don’t want anyone to miss out on this exciting opportunity to BE the church “all together in one place.” - Acts 2:1
